Amtrak—Penn Station

The Carey Business School is a five minute ride from Baltimore Penn Station, a major multimodal transportation hub serving the greater Baltimore region and is a vital link along the busy Northeast Corridor. As the 8th busiest station in Amtrak’s national system, Penn Station serves Amtrak’s high-speed Acela Express, Northeast Regional and long-distance train services.

The Yellow Cab Company serves approximately 5 million people annually with a fleet of over 600 vehicles. The taxi service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year in Baltimore (Yellow, Checker and Sun Cabs) and Baltimore County (Jimmy’s Cab).

MARC Train

MARC Train Service is a commuter rail system servicing Harford County, Maryland; Baltimore City; Washington D.C.; Brunswick, Maryland; Frederick, Maryland and Martinsburg, West Virginia. MARC Train Service operates Monday through Friday with limited weekend service on the Penn Line.

Driving directions

The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School is located at 100 International Drive Baltimore, MD 21202 (within the Legg Mason building on the waterfront) in the Harbor East neighborhood of Baltimore. Please park in the parking garage located beneath our building (parking entrance is across the street from Lebanese Taverna restaurant on South President St.). 

Upon parking in the Legg Mason building garage, please proceed to the office elevator, which will take you to the Office lobby (LR). Exit the building, turn left and you will see the Carey Business School entrance (separate entrance – closest to the water) where you will the re- enter the building; Carey Business School security will check you in.

From I-83

Take I-83 into downtown Baltimore. At the end of the expressway, I-83 becomes President Street. Continue straight on President Street. until you reach the roundabout (large monument at center). Turn right, (2nd right,) onto International Drive.

Parking: Follow the roundabout half way around turning right (3rd right,) onto President Street. Turn right into the garage. Take the elevator to the building lobby.

From I-495 (From DC, northeastern VA, the south)

Take I-495 to I-95 North. Follow to I-95 North to I-395 towards downtown Baltimore. Take the downtown exit to Pratt Street. Proceed on Pratt Street and turn right onto President Street. Continue straight on President Street. until you reach the roundabout (large monument at center.) Turn right, (2nd right,) onto International Drive.

Parking: Follow the roundabout half way around turning right (3rd right,) onto President Street. Turn right into the garage. Take the elevator to the building lobby.

From I-695

Take I-695 to I-95 to Baltimore to I-395 towards downtown Baltimore. Take the downtown exit to Pratt Street. Proceed on Pratt Street and turn right onto President Street.
